WhatsApp links that open the chat with your message ready
Turn your number into a link that starts a chat in one tap, with the first message already written. Preview it, tell your ads apart with a reference, and get a QR code or a chat button for your website.
A ready-to-share chat link in three steps
Add your number
Type it with the country code. Spaces, dashes and a leading 00 are cleaned up for you.
Write the first message
Write what the customer sends you, such as “Hi, I’d like to book a table”, and add a short reference for each ad or poster.
Share it anywhere
Copy the link for your bio, ads and emails, make a QR code for print, or copy a chat button for your website.
Where a WhatsApp link earns its place
A chat link removes the steps between interest and a conversation: no saving the number, no typing the first line.
- Your Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn bio, where people already expect a contact link.
- Google Business Profile, email signatures and your website’s contact page.
- Menus, packaging, flyers and shop windows, as a QR code with a clear caption.
- Ads and posts, with a different reference in each, so you know which one started the chat.
- Order and booking confirmations, so customers reach you without searching.
Two kinds of link
- wa.me/numberOpens a chat with your number, message ready
- wa.me/?text=Lets people share your message with anyone they choose
What businesses ask about WhatsApp links
Is a wa.me link official?
Yes. wa.me is WhatsApp’s own click-to-chat address. It opens the app on phones and WhatsApp Web or the desktop app on computers.
How should I write the number?
In full international format: country code, then the number, without the leading zero of the local number. The tool removes spaces, dashes, brackets and a leading 00, and warns you when the number starts with 0.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The link opens a chat with any WhatsApp number, personal or Business.
Can I see which ad brought the chat?
WhatsApp doesn’t pass UTM tags, so add a short reference to the message, such as “Ref: spring-flyer”. Use a different one for each ad or poster and you’ll see where each chat started.
Can I add emoji or line breaks?
Yes. Emoji, line breaks and Arabic or English text are all encoded correctly. The preview shows how the message will look.
Is my number saved anywhere?
Only in your own browser, so the form is ready next time. Nothing is sent to us.
